Review on Video of Developent

This is a wonderful example of how some people are desperate for houses. In this video you see the one group of people trying to teach the people in the less developed place how to make bricks and build houses. It is like an old saying: "Give a man a fish, and he will eat tonight, teach a man to fish, and he will eat forever." This is completely true. In the video they are teaching the people how to build bricks and then houses, they are not building the houses for them. That is the important part, the people will now be able to build houses forever! This also teaches the people, who may not have proper education, that things aren't just going to be done for them, they have to work to achieve success.

One of the reasons that the peole teaching the others how to build the bricks and houses is that they want to try and encourage leadership. They are hoping that someone or some people will try and take charge and help and guide and encourage all the others who are building their own homes. The people will also have a sense of accomplishment after they have built their home, as they have not just been given it, they have worked hard to build their own home.

I think that this Reconstruction and Developmet Program (RDP) is very good, they are helping others (like the ones in the video) to produce thousands and thousands of homes a year, we might think that it isn't really making a difference, but it is, even if we only start to notice the difference in 10 years time. Overall, I think that this is a very good thing, peolpe are being provided a home, but they are building it themselves, so they are learning lots of new skills.
